Delete Your Data
How to delete your Krishi Shop Khata data — on your device, in your Google Drive, and (online plan) your account and shop on our server.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
The offline app keeps everything on your device and, only if you enabled backup, in your own Google Drive. If you used the online plan (staff login and sync), your account and your shop’s khata are also on our server. You can delete each of these yourself:
1. Delete your online account (online plan only)
Open Krishi Shop Khata → More → Online (staff & sync) → Delete online account, and confirm.
- Your sign-in (Google account ID, name and email) is deleted from our server.
- If you are a shop owner: your online shop and everything stored for it on our server — its khata, staff list, activity log and subscription record — are deleted, and staff devices stop syncing. Cancel the online plan in Google Play first (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions); the app asks you to.
- If you are staff: you are removed from every shop. The shop’s khata belongs to the owner and stays.
- The khata already on your device stays there, offline, until you delete it (step 2).
- Server backups are kept for 14 days, after which no copy remains.
- Only if you started a free trial: a one-way fingerprint of your Google account and Gmail stays, so the trial isn’t given twice. It cannot be turned back into your email.
You can also email tapasdutta@outlook.com from the Gmail you sign in with, and we will delete the account within 7 days.
2. Delete everything on your device
Open Krishi Shop Khata → Settings → Delete all data, and type the 4-digit code shown to confirm (you can back up or save a copy first). This permanently removes all farmers, sales, udhaar, stock, purchases, cashbook entries, photos and the app PIN from the device, and the app starts fresh. You can also do this from your phone’s Settings → Apps → Krishi Shop Khata → Storage → Clear storage, or by uninstalling the app.
3. Remove your Google Drive backup (if you used it)
- Go to your Google Account → Data & privacy → Third-party apps & services.
- Select Krishi Shop Khata and choose “Remove access”.
- This deletes the app’s private backup data (its appDataFolder) from your Google Drive.
Deleting a single record
To remove just one farmer, company, product or entry, open it in the app and use Delete (in an online shop, only the owner can delete).
Usage statistics and crash reports
The anonymous usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase) and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) never contain anything from your khata and are tied only to a random app-instance ID, which is reset when you uninstall the app or clear its storage. They are deleted automatically — usage statistics after up to 14 months, crash reports after 90 days. To have them deleted sooner, email tapasdutta@outlook.com with the Support ID shown under Privacy at the bottom of Krishi Shop Khata → Settings.
