Delete Your Data

How to remove your Gasht account and the data connected to it.

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Gasht accounts belong to a company. Your personal account (name, mobile number, email, photo, device and notification tokens) can be deleted on request; the visits, photos and notes you recorded are the business records of the company you worked for and are deleted when that company deletes them or closes its account.

1. Delete your user account

  • Ask your company administrator to remove you from Gasht (Users → Remove). Your sign-in stops immediately and your personal details are deleted from the company account.
  • Or email tapasdutta@outlook.com from any address with the mobile number you signed in with, and we will verify it with a one-time code and delete the account within 30 days.

2. Remove the app’s data from your phone

Signing out of Gasht wipes the local copy of the company’s data from the phone. Uninstalling the app does the same.

3. Delete a company account (administrators)

A company administrator can email tapasdutta@outlook.com from the administrator’s registered address to close the company account. We provide a full export of the company’s data on request, then permanently delete the company’s database, photos and users after a 30-day grace period. Backups are overwritten within a further 30 days.

What is kept

After deletion we keep only the minimum needed for billing records and legal compliance (for example invoices to the company), which contain no visit, customer or location data.
